Abby’s Mission
Abby’s on a heartfelt mission to make a difference, and she needs your help! As she gears up for her biggest run yet, Abby is taking on a 10K run and three seperate runs totalling 14 MILES in the name of LOVE to raise awareness and funds for Operation Abby’s Shoes. This initiative aims to provide shoes for 5,000 children in need.

Why is Abby Running?
Abby believes that every child deserves a good pair of shoes to walk, play, and learn in comfort and confidence. For many kids, shoes are more than just an item of clothing—they represent safety, confidence, and the chance to engage fully in everyday life. Abby’s goal is simple yet powerful: three 10ks to help 10,000 kids. With each step she takes, Abby is running toward a brighter future for those in need, and you can be part of this journey!
WISH UPON A MILE
Every mile is a wish come true!
On October 25, Abby is running a 10K to grant a very practical “wish”—NEW shoes for kids.
This fall we’re turning miles into magic. Abby will run a 10K (6.2 miles) to fund brand-new shoes for children in our community. Her mom is joining the challenge too — taking on either the 10K (6.1 miles) or the full 13.1-mile challenge. Every sponsored mile turns Abby’s training into immediate, practical help: new shoes that improve confidence, school attendance, and safe play.

How sponsorship works:

Sponsor amount: $2500 as Title Sponsor, $1,000 per mile (or $500 per kilometer)

Abby runs 10 miles in total (10K ≈ 6.2 miles) — sponsors may choose any mile to sponsor.

Your gift pays for brand-new, well-fitting shoes distributed to kids in need right away.

Immediate impact: Your sponsorship funds the purchase and distribution of new shoes — not administration or delayed programs.
